Well, apparently you want. Because, as you know pretty well, Macedonia is the fatherland of Alexander the Great, the most famous and glorious conqueror and acculturator of all times.
Therefore you want to see the city he was born, the places where he mounted his horse, Vukefalas, the school he learnt rhetoric, policy and fighting in Mieza, by the most famous teacher, namely Aristotle, the place he crowned as King, right after his father was killed in Aigai’s theater.
You also want to see the Macedonian palaces along with all Macedonian golden artifacts, the stones with Macedonian dialect inscriptions.
Do you think that all those places and artifacts are in Macedonia? Well, you are right! They are in Macedonia. But, be careful, not in FYROMacedonia, the country whose capital is Skopje.
Since 1992, the Slavic people of that country, previously flummoxed by Tito, called their Slavic ethnicity and identity Macedonian in order, amongst other reasons, to monopolize the name, the glory and the land of Macedonia. They are pathetically and miserably deceiving themselves that they are Macedonians. They are duping humanity because nowhere in their touristic leaflets or ads declare that the places that Alexander walked, lived, studied, played, served, prepared for campaign are not in their country but in Greece. Because Alexander, apparently, wasn’t Slav. Because Macedonians have, always and obviously, been Greeks. Skopje never was in Macedonia.
Greece unearths and protects all Macedonian artifacts and proudly presents them to humanity in Macedonia, Greece. We recognize them by their obvious Greekness.
Well, welcome in Macedonia, Greece, and its capital Thessaloniki !!
Macedonian, therefore Greek
